Monk Bar Model shop is a traditional family owned model shop in York established in 1963! They stock a large selection of Hornby, Airfix, Scalextric, Corgi and Humbrol. The shop window display is awesome!

One of the friendliest shops you could go to. We travel to York from Liverpool to visit because the service is impeccable. They always have a huge range of stock in, they can repair almost anything. The nice part is you can have a chat and a laugh with the staff always makes you feel welcome

Excellent shop, Andy and his team are very helpful and friendly. I was able to do all my shopping very easily and got some great advice as regards to DCC decoders. Will make it a point to visit York on my next trip to the UK and do all my Hornby shopping here only. They have a great range of Hornby products and quite a neat display too. Love their window display and their cute Monk Bar Model truck!!
