Diesel-Electric
I've got myself a virgin diesel locomotive and I'd like it to haul Mk3 carriages.I've got the trailer guard's standard coach (weathered).I'm also aware of the First class, Brake coach and Buffet cars, what other coaches should I be looking for? Diesel-Electric
Hornby R2677 00 Gauge Virgin Railways Class 47 Railroad LocomotiveThat's the one I've got.Bare in mind I just need something that looks vaguely right I'm not going for 100% authenticity at the moment because I've only just started the hobby. I've started with the Ex Virgin Mk3 rolling stock and so I thought I'd stick with that and I'd like to put at least one of each different carriage behind the loco. Fazy
I would just go with one more 1st class along with 2 or 3 2nd class coaches would give you the feel of the train your after. Which would give you a 6/7 coach train which would give you a decent looking train. And when you have had more time in the hobby you may wish to add more or change the formation. How about the Hornby TGS trailer gaurds standard. Don't know if the livery is right foe you though
