I know have one, and have removed my select from bottom drawer and connected it. The result, is superb. My new fiddle yard is part hidden by my layout from where i sit. Also, when building/ extending i can immediately test track. I bought a 3 metre cable, and can happily sit elsewhere to shunt etc. It has turned a redundant controller, to a useful addition to layout. I write all this, as there may be others who had not tried, or thought about a walkabout. When you get a short, eg, error on elite, you cant clear it on walkabout, so you have to WALKABOUT, back to Elite to clear it, unless, someone knows different. john Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
