Yelrow
i have a double header set up with RM, which works . treat . I read the proceedure in Elite, which i can also do. Now, having got my RM throttles working with the Elite, i presume that i cannot drive with both, eg can set up run with Elite, which is a tad more complicated then RM, so throttles show on RM, but can only drive on one or the other. Is this the case or am i missing something, which knowing me, would be par for the course
RB51
I could be wrong (also) it's been a while since I did this but I am fairly sure you can use either address. R-
Fishmanoz
The double header setup is stored in the loco decoders so should be accessible from both RM and Elite.
96RAF
Where double header info is stored depends upon the capability of your decoder to support simple or the more complex d/heading, but if using rm then it is all held in rm and even simple decoders can run in complex configs.usually when using the elite for dh then until you deconsist the rig you can only use the consist address, not the single loco address. Fishmanoz
Good point RAF. Correction to mine - double headers set up with Elite will run in RM on the consist address, but not necessarily the other way round.
Yelrow
Thats what i was afraid of, cos its easier to set up on RM, and i know from previous posts that Elite connection is only one way. john
