BrisbaneM
I am trying to program a number of locos using a Select Controller. Each loco is fitted with a decoder. I have this problem with 4 locos, 2 came as DCC fitted and the others have had decoder added. I have only one loco on the track and follow the steps explained in the Operators Manual (Second Loco Programming). Step 4 says the red LED will flash up to seven times but if it flashes eight times then have to repeat the process. In each case the LED is flashing eight times and there is no power to the loco. What am I doing wrong?
Howbi
@Brisbane...........I would suggest you try programming only on a completely seperate piece of track then you can be sure that there is no interference from any other source/accessory. Fishmanoz
And sometimes if you push down on the loco with your hand when you give the programming instruction it can help with good contact. Programming is more sensitive in this regard than running as the programming power is lower.
