Drewe Manton Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Built when the kit was released a few years ago now. http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s463/Dmanton300/Airfix_gnat/gnat18.jpghttp://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s463/Dmanton300/Airfix_gnat/gnat22.jpghttp://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s463/Dmanton300/Airfix_gnat/gnat25.jpgThe wash was WAAAAY too heavy but. . nice model!
Drewe Manton Posted December 1, 2015 Author Posted December 1, 2015 Mostly Mr Color with some Tamiya and Gaianotes as well.
nigel_poole Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Yeah way to heavy. Out of interest if you b it again what wash would you go for?
Drewe Manton Posted December 1, 2015 Author Posted December 1, 2015 I'd probably use a mid-grey, something near a kind of dark sea grey, or even lighter. I fond a wash on silver helps to actually knock panel lines back a bit of it's paler because it cuts the reflelctions of the silver in the lines themselves.

Jonathan Mock Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I keep meaning to make another - and the 1/48 one. Still tickled that we *have* a 1/48 Gnat!
Drewe Manton Posted December 4, 2015 Author Posted December 4, 2015 We have been flooded with gnats the lady few years haven't we? Special Hobby's fighters are little gems too.
