SHAGG
Hi,I've just opened my new Transrail class 60 Skidaw and to my surprise there are no snowploughs fitted and in the detail bag there was only one of each type of snowplough supplied, meaning I can only have a coupling at one end of the loco which is less than desirable as I like a coupling at both ends for ease of operation. Is this the norm now as a cost saving measure or is it a mistake.I hope it's a mistake as for the high price of these locos it's a bit cheeky if it's not a mistake.Has anybody else come across this?I have contacted Hornby but I am still waiting for a response due to the time of the year probably. year
walkingthedog
They don't usually fit snowploughs but leave it for you to do. Not everybody wants them. I would have thought there would be a set for both ends though.
SHAGG
Hi,thanks for the reply,I have a few other 60's and they all came with the coupling snowploughs fitted and the detail snowploughs in a bag with the air pipes.
