plug47
Sometimes the yellow light on my booster starts to flash on and off, then the trains start to stop and start. there is obviously some break in the signal. What causes this?
2e0dtoeric
Start by making sure all the plugs are plugged in, Plug! (sorry!)From what you describe, it is an intermittent power interrupt TO the booster. How big is your layout? How many loco's? If it is not in the dozens and upwards, all moving at once, what are you using a booster for?

What causes this?Does the flashing on and off occur when a train passes over a particular section of track? I'm thinking there may be a point frog which is causing a brief short when train wheels pass over it.Ray
