Bristol Bloodhound inspiration

This rather weathered Bloodhound resides at Wells Reclamation in Somerset - what a great weathering project though! Recreating all that grime and flaking paint would be a challange.

Flightpath still have their 1/32 Bloodhound on the catalogue. Not cheap but probably cheaper than bidding for a Frog 1/24 kit! Lines and Hellstrom don't record the Frog Bloodhound as Renwal tooling, although they identify other kits from this period as being so.

I like the way the stainless steel cones in the intakes are still shiny despite the state of the rest of it.

It's definately a Mk.I BTW. The Mk.II had a sleeve/nozzle on the back of the ramjets that was a slightly wider diameter than the rest of it.

Aha! Thanks for thet Harold. I must ask them how much they want for it. It would certaintly put next door's gazebo into perspective!
