Amateur modeller
Recently bought a 1910 B Type Omnibus to improve my skill level but found that the windows do not exactly fit the frame. After using Clearfix to glue the Windows, the whole thing looks odd. Is this normal or have I chosen a kit with design flaws.
nmcabecadas
If the windows are flat, try cutting them from a transparent plastic or acrylic sheet. Can be much more transparent and better looking than the old plastic windows included with the kit.
Ratch
Can't recall any problems with the windows...http://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL761/13303934/24438612/407687347.jpghttp://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL761/13303934/24438612/407687348.jpghttp://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL761/13303934/24438612/407687349.jpghttp://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL761/13303934/24438612/407687353.jpgAn easy replacement is clear acetate, found in lots of packaging, as a cheap alternative. Amateur modeller
Thank you all for your advices. As I glued the windows before submitting my question, you cannot really see that the windows overhang their frames as they are fitted from the inside but as I become more and more experienced in modelling I will certainly use the tips you have all suggested. Thank you
