JeremiahBunyan
Hi, I wanted to order a Hornby 2016 Handbook and a Hornby T-shirt. However is there any way I can find out the prices for shipping? The prices shown of the website are probably for models. Shipping to me is listed as £45. I assume for a book and T-shirt it will be much cheaper? Or are Hornby shipping charges standard?
walkingthedog
Most retailers have a standard postal charge no matter what you order. Gaugemaster are post free but if yo order something small they add a £2 small item handling charge. You couldn't make it up.
choralc
JBM £30 I believe is the minimum checkout amount to get free UK postage. For me in the antipodes my basket minimum needs to be £125 which with the prices of locomotives rising is easily achieved.
Fishmanoz
Bad assumption JBM, and the reason I haven't ordered a Handbook. Why not a PDF delivered online for free?
