Antos
Hi,On the official page of the train the first picture shows a crown above the nameplate on the boiler, however the second picture does not show this crown. I have also seen this model in a shop and it also does not have a crown on the boiler, nor does it contain it anywhere in the box.(I realise that the number is also different) however i think that the crown really sets off the model and makes it look special. So my question is why is there a crown shown on the main picutre (and on the box) but not on the actual model? It's very dissapointing to look at the picture of the train and then find that the actual model is not what is described. Fazy
The royal crown was fitted in about 2000 when she pull the royal train. Before that she would not have had one fitted. Not sure if she carries it all the time now though. So depending on when the model is depicting it may be wrong to carry it.

Antos
The number on the box shows 46223, the number on the actual model shows 46233 https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/lms-duchess-of-sutherland-and-support-coach-train-pack.html this is the link to the official page for the train
walkingthedog
Interestingly the side view with the coach under the loco has the wrong number and a crown. The other two pictures have the correct number and no crown.
