Chalky1707817905
Is it possible to use track plans created with scarm or other computer programs with RM Pro using current version
Fishmanoz
If you mean can they be used as schematic layouts in RM, the answer is no. It really wouldn't save all that much as it is quite simple to create a schematic of your actual or designed layout.
ModelerXYZ
RM plans are schematics. Track master/scarm plans are drawings. rm plans are not true to life,m TM plans are. xyz
Fishmanoz
Quite right XYZ. I assumed Chalky understood that and was asking if a real one can be imported to RM to make an RM schematic. At least that was the basis for my answer of no.
96RAF
I suggested this a while back and the coders said it was too difficult to transcribe a track plan (actual parts) to a screen plan (schematic) or vice versa. SCARM also has the facility to draw up a schematic using 'noddy' lines in lieu of track parts, so it could be used to help draw an RM one.
Fishmanoz
RAF, I assume you mean make the schematic with SCARM then use it to help you make your RM schematic in layout design, not import it?
