I would like to point out that the catalogue is going to be produced occasionally it is not being phased out altogether if you read the blog about it it says  the handbook replaces the regular issues of the hornby catalogue the catalogue will still be produced later in the year ( reading between the lines )  my take on the printed word I'm sure if people contact hornby they will tell them the same
