Airfix 1/48 Sea Harrier FA/2 launch 1997

Another oldy, this SHAR was built from early test shots of the 1/48 kit to present to No. 899 Naval Air Squadron at the launch of the kit at RNAS Yeovilton, Somerset.

They kindly wheeled an actual SHAR out for the press call, and the model was handed over by Andrew Farmer of Humbrol. Last time I heard, the model still sits in the Officer's Mess.
