AAnd finally, a picture with the Academy kit built some ten years earlier. Ssome notable shape differences, especially the canopy!

i changed the canopy for an Aeroclub one when I built the Academy kit. Too 'square' shaped'

Did you use the kit decals for the stripes or mask them?

One of Hawker's finest very nicely done. Personally I hate decal stripes, last time I tried using them it ended up in tears.

All stripes were masked and sprayed.

Awaiting pics. It's OK when you have flat surfaces, but soon as you have any excrescence or compound curvature to deal with it all goes pear shaped.
