AlanBuzz Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Has anyone tried to put signals with junction feathers into RM?I have two such signals and have been unable to persuade RM to display a single green....it jumps from red to green with feather and back again, and the display is out of sync with what the signal is actually doing. I've set the sequence up to be red, green, red, green with feather, since operating the signal seems to be primarily set up to be sequential thro the sequence.I tend to use voice control, so considering working round the issue by having two signals on the layout plan, one for main line (normal two aspect) and one for the diverging route(feather). By giving them the appropriate CV numbers(The decoder takes two numbers) I can then get what I want, and also set up some interlocking within points etc.Has anyone else had this problem, and been able to come up with a work round that is a little more elegant than my solution.
walkingthedog Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Alan you would have been better to put this in the Railmaster section. That's where the experts hang about making a nuisance of themselves.
96RAF Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 And much discussion has gone on about signalling, including the feathered variety.
AlanBuzz Posted January 19, 2016 Author Posted January 19, 2016 Noted gents. The discussions on feathers I've seen are getting on a bit. Looks like RM hasn't actually changed much in this respect in the last year or so. The two signal option on the display seems to be the workround, particularly if using voice control.

I agree - would Admin please move this thread to the RM section. I am also tweaking this thread to see if the OP will return to it.Ray
