airfixian Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 What do you clean the brush with after applying decalfix?
Carl Stratford Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 I use the same as I do for cleaning my acrylic brushes.. warm water with a smidge of washing up liquid..Method: carefully wipe brush on clean kitchen towel, or similar.. (NOT bog roll), dip brush in pot of soapy water, agitate, wipe again on kitchen towel, repeat as necessary, then rinse brush in clean water. Works for me... Also I occasionally treat my paint brushes (and my shaving brush) to a wash in hair conditioner and thoroughly rinse out to keep them sharp and lovely..
John Symmons Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Hair conditioner? I like your thinking, neat idea. I often use frabric conditioner / softener as I've said on other posts. try it it really works, condions the brushes beautifully, also works on normal house hold brushes. Maybe I'll try the hair conditioner next time.Remember we do this for fun John the Pom
