rayarpino Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 I quite expected Hornby would not let the Sir Nigel Gresley anniversary go by without doing something about it, but I am once again disappointed (I refer of course to the great gathering), to say the least, that the price of the bundle of commemorative models is well beyond the means of the average modeller.Seriously Hornby, do you think many people are going to dish out over £500 for a group of four repaints? I can understand the limited edition, but at least give your customers the opportunity to purchase these locos individually. For instance, I would urchase two in the group. If not, then you admit catering for two classes of customers and that is downright unfair to the thousands of people who purchase two or three of your engines a year and thereby keep you alive. A little more consideration for your mainstay customers would be welcome.
walkingthedog Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Bet they sell out very quickly. They should issue them as single locos though, who knows, maybe they will.
andys steam dayz Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Hii think Hattons have been selling them individually I had Silver Fox from them also my local model shop was selling them individually if that helpsRegards
