C552 Racing Metro Set

Hello - my husbands old Scalextric is only marked C552 and Racing Metro set. I am struggling to find any references to this on spares sites and we need new wheels (I think the cars are Metros) can you please advise which wheels we can get? Thank you

I am not personally familiar with that set but it is an older set what we would call "classic" (to loops or spoons on the end as about to a half round and square tab).

By wheels do you mean the whole wheel or just the tires/tyres?

By the way, you can use the converter track to hook up the old track to new system.
