Hey,

I honestly don't like to complain nor do I like to see Hornby getting a mouthfull when they make an error. Yes, humans make mistakes and at the end of a day it's a hobby and not a matter of life or death.

However I do like to help in advance if I can and I've stated it many times before, I don't want to bash Hornby - I just want to help them make more accurate models.

So I decided to start a topic on the forums where anyone can post about things like livery errors or even errors in the models. And if they're lucky then hopefully Hornby can make the change in time.

So please do contribute. I sincerely don't want this to become a bashing thread (so if you want to bash, think twice).

Anyone with any help can post.

Cheers!
JBM

R3475 Greater Anglia Class 90

The image posted by Hornby is indeed just an edited one and not the real model, so I hope the roof colour is correct. The shade of grey used is far too light as compared to the real thing.

R3501 Virgin Trains East Coast Class 91, Mk.4 and DVT

The shade of light grey on the Class 91, DVT and Mk.4 coaches is too dark. It's a very very light shade of grey.

Easy peasy:

"Boys from the Black Stuff" & "Yosser Hughes" played by Bernard Hill originally screened 1980....a brilliant TV drama. Up there with "The Knowledge" from the previous year 1979.
