Fozzy Bear Posted February 21, 2016 Share Posted February 21, 2016 Hello folksDoes anyone have a list of decoders that don't work with RM? I am asking so that I know which ones tp avoid. I bought a Roco ICE train off ebay that came fitted with a Lenz something or rather and whilst RM could read it, it just wouldn't run. I swapped it out for a Sapphire and away it went.I did a search of the forums but turned up nothing except a topic about ,you guessed it, Lenz decoders. RB51 Posted February 21, 2016 Share Posted February 21, 2016 That's odd Bryan, I have several Lenz decoders (Loksound 4, Silver+ & Standard) and have no difficulty in running them with RM. I have a few DCC ready trains still to be fitted so I might slip it into one and give that a try. It was a 2nd hand train from Germany so who knows what the previous owner did and I had a spare Sapphire as the shop sent me 2 when I ordered one (bonus!!) so I wasn't too worried. I have heard good reports about the Lenz Silvers and they are a bit cheaper than the Sapphires. It is good to hear that they work with RM. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
