96RAF
A short circuit to the eLink will result in a shut down indicated by RM. you then have to clear the short and reset the eLink by pressing the little red button found inside the big red stop button. Fishmanoz
The Stop button is on the RM screen.
salmontrout
Hi, thanks. I have found the little reset button and used it but not sure what shows that there is an overload. What should I look for other than nothing running?
96RAF
RM flashes up a warning dialogue box (or it did - search RM forum for short circuits).
Mobileadam
The short circuit message is an odd one. Now that I've changed my ini settings to have a better connection and not get freezes (and incordance with the RM set up instructions on the forum) I no longer get the short circuit message. It used to work and reset as expected, however with the configuration changes (bascially Check Controller = 0) the eLink goes into safety mode but I find to get everything working again I need to press that little sqaure to reset things AND then exit RM and restart the software before it will work again. 96RAF
As far as I know it still hasn't been fixed to everyone's satisfaction.
