stephen_speller Posted February 29, 2016 Share Posted February 29, 2016 Does anyone know if it is possible to fit a R8249 decoder to the R084 Princess Elizabeth?I looked at the decoder installation instructions for a tender decoder installation but this it is for the "Flying Scotsman" and the wiring/connections are different. You'll find he has instructions for all types of ringfields. The important thing is to make sure there is no connection between the left hand brush holder and chassis. It looks like I have a bit of work to do in order to ensure connectivity isolation, but Brian's instructions are clear what to check.
