elltrainz123
Hello, I am thinking, I am think to get an E-link, but I am following the old trakmat layout : http://www.pls-layouts.co.uk/images/trakmat1.jpg But I see that this, and the new one, requires two controllers. Is there a way, to hook the e-link, into two Digital Power Connecting Clips to power the two loops?
dynax
with DCC the whole layout is wired to the one controller, the track is live all the time the unit is powered on, each loco needs a decoder which is programmed with a unique id address, so it only a loco that is selected operates on the layout, usually with a trackmat setup link wires are used from one circuit to the other,
96RAF
You can do no better than refer to the sticky post by Chris in General Discussion forum about Track extensions, which explains all about Trackmat plans and how to link them for DC or DCC operation.
