Hello one and all, today i received the above loco from the Hornby on line shop, which i pre ordered a while ago and i would like to say a big well done to all at Hornby for a cracking looking loco. The metallic blue looks great as does the unique packaging it comes in.I have now put it away for my grand children, when they are old enough to appreciate it.Well pleased with my purchase, thanks Hornby.

I placed my order two days ago but the order still says "processing!!!" Which is very frustrating......

When it is despatched I just hope the delivery guy actually tries to deliver to the right place unlike last time, I had to track the redelivery and wait outside my building for 10mins to make sure I got it. Doesn't sound too bad I know but not much fun leaning between a bus stop and walking stick.

I'll give till the end of today before contacting them......again....

Still jus sitting there processing....... I think this'll be the last order I place direct with Hornby.

After looking at some posts in the forums its obvious they have some customer service issues, I'm so pleased I bought my TTS flying Scotsman and TTS diesel from other sources as both orders were despatched and I have received them in less time than I've waited for Hornby to even send this order.....

Youd think companies would realise that customers pay their wages and would try to offer a reasonable service.......

Hornby's T&C say 'please allow 5 working days for delivery (UK)'. So if you place an order on Friday, it's dispatched on Tuesday and delivered on Wednesday (even if you're out) then I can't see anything to complain about really. To be honest I couldn't care less if the website we're still saying 'Processing' if I'd received my delivery. None of my orders have ever taken 5 working days to arrive. I've even had the one occasion when an order placed Wednesday morning arrived Thursday lunchtime!

I order from the Hornby direct because of the 10% Club membership and free post over 125 GBP. That way I can get items so much cheaper than on-line from an Australian store. The nearest one is over 100km away with very little model railway stock. The next is over 5 hrs drive away with very, very little model railway stock and there was a nice old general type hobby store with mostly HO 12 hours away in Rockhampton.

So for other items I'm quite happy to use Hattons for example or Model ailways Direct or Amanda Jane.

Time to Australia could be a less than a week or a month or more. It gets here when it gets here but for long delays it would be nice to know who has it and where it might be. Hornby please get that feature working.
