simon_young
Does anyone know where I can downlod Sound Decoder Manuals? I have a Gadwell with TTS sound, but no manual?
Chrissaf
Unless someone corrects me. I believe the TTS decoders are fairly similar across the range. Thus any of the Steam TTS manuals should give virtually the same information in them..This one (click this link) is for the Hornby Duke of Gloucester TTS. AFAIK the Gadwell doesn't appear to be published on the Hornby site. But may be available 'on request' from Hornby Customer Care - see the 'Help & Advice' drop down menu and choose 'contact us' for the telephone number. 96RAF
If you look in the downloads section there is a bit for sound manuals but these are the locksound V's. If you look in the TTS section of the shop you will see against some of the locos there is a 'download the manual for this loco'. e.g. A4's herehttps://www.hornby.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Class-A4-TTS-Sound-Manual.pdf @chris there is a subtle difference between some of the 'lesser' functions on steam (door slam/whistle/this/that) but the main ones are the same (steam on/off/whistles/chuff/coast/aux lights). Chrissaf
Precisely why I was careful to include the words 'similar' and 'virtually' in the post. I did look in the TTS section of the shop (where I found the DoG), but missed the A4 you found. Obviously, your link is a better match for the OP's requirement.
