realtek
Hi, I have an old train set the intercity version from about 25 years ago or something. I wanted to fix it down using track pins and just purchased some but they are too big for the holes. The description says Gugage 00 and they are official hornby ones. I need some that are even smaller... any advice please? Thank you
poliss
You could look at panel pins at your local DIY store, or you could use something else entirely, such as a latex based glue like Copydex.
96RAF
I was just going to suggest that polis, with the suggestion that you use a variety of paperclips sizes to find one that fit your track holes and take that with you to B&Q (or preferred local equivalent). Chrissaf
Peco PL14 track pins are a lot thinner than standard Hornby ones.
walkingthedog
I use Gaugemaster track pins, they have a perfectly flat head and are very sharp. They can be pushed into the board with the end of some pliers or something similar. Hornby pins are fat, blunt and have rounded head. Don't like them at all.
