Chrissaf
"can't find R4068, you may have mis-typed the number. HB".I was wondering that too HB. The only R4068s I could find where historical references to some quite old carriages. The R4068s I found, didn't look to have any factory fitted lighting, being dated 1998 / 1999. AFAIK, factory fitted lighting is a fairly modern feature..If the lighting is factory fitted and are dated from a time period that predates DCC and/or not based on LEDs. Then there may possibly be an issue with the higher DCC track voltages burning the lighting out prematurely..In principle, if the carriage has its own lighting pickups on the wheels, then it should light up when placed on the always live DCC track.
