Car not recognized

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I've been using the ARC AIR set-up for one and half month and I'm absolutely impressed by the features. I have a problem with a Ford GT (it's a new one): after the start of each race the lap of this car is not counted, the car seems to be 'stuck' in the pit stop. Did anyone else experience anything like that? It's ONLY happening with this car, all the others are working great so it's definetely not a problem of ARC AIR position (I always place it after a long straight just before a curve, all the cars are correctly tracked) or ARC not working properly. I've tried to re-calibrate the car, to delete the car and add it again, or to add it as custom car but it didn't change anything...

What color is the guide blade?

The ARC systems only recognize black guild blades.

I noticed similar behavior when teh cars were running the wrong way around the track.

So if you have a black guide blade and it is still happening then something is making ARC think the car is running the wrong direction.

The guide blade is definitely black...

Does the car have any kind of electronics that the other cars don't?

Like lights or anything?

It is very odd that it behaves as if the car is going the wrong way.

The only other cars I had that caused the system to reacts like that were some Artin /Cartronic cars.

It'a Ford GT40 (C3533), I don't see why it should behave differently...shall I maybe change the guide blade?

FYI: I replaced the guide blade and now the car is just working fine :)
