Hornby Class 110 loose gear wheel

I have been mending faults on 4 locos today, one of which is a loose metal gear on the main shaft out of the motor on my class 110 Green DMU. .

 

Is there a particular glus that will work best on this ?

 

It must be about 20 years old so I cant complain at it developing a fault..

You could try Loctite Threadlocker.
