Fazy
Has I'm about to be able to do some modeling over the summer holiday. Which I've been unable to get into over the past months. I thought it might be fun to see what half finished projects people have. And how long they have been waiting to be finished. I have at the moment one pricess Royal witch will be finished of when bits arrive. Hopefully! But does run.4 pats just need renumbering and naming. 3 jubilee detailing and renumbering and naming including 2 3500 gal tenders built. Also have 8 black5 all now runners. But need detailing numbers etc.Not to mention 2 rakes of suburban coaches to be built or detailed dapol and Bachmann. That's not to mention 12 loco kits but they will not be opened untill all the above is finished. Nothing more than three years though Can you bet me. More or on time

GWR LNER fan 4472
I've got a load of buildings ready for the new village, but I have to have a train or two going round in the background as I'm more into running the trains than the modeling! Most of the kits are the Superquick cardboard ones and I'm currently building a small house with a dormer window that came in a pack with another one the other way round wich I've already finished. Still to do are an antiques shop, a cinema, a row of teraces and many more to keep me buisy!Train wise, I've got to add decoders to four older locos (two GWR pannier tanks, a BR blue class 37 and a GWR 101), also general cleaning of wheels and dusting bodywork on all rolling stock. 😀

Hi FazyDo you happen to know if this is the mob that do brass window frames to fit Hornby'sdiesle fuel point or what ever it is they call the flat pack toy thing.I have one and if I can get it to look less toy like I might just use it, if not well out with the rubish a some point.regards John
Fazy
Sorry I don't know. Have a look their website its quite good. I think in the sub menu you will find detailing buildings. They do locomotive kits and detailing kit for some Hornby and Bachmann locos to. Which I've used. And can say are excellent.

81F
Models to do Part 1! Just bought some rather grotty Wrenn or Hornby refrigerator van bodies some with handrails some without to go with several other complete but rather grotty doubleo versions along with some DAPOL 10ft chassis. My aim is to repaint all the bodies mostly into late GW white with red lettering and fit the dapol chassis (such a shame DAPOL son't or can't make this van) for a meat train to go with my condensing pannier body I bought from another Shapeways shop. The latter is also on my workbench waiting for me to fit the cab and other grab rails before the final coat of paint etc.
96RAF
An early Class 56 with a superb detailed body and duff chassis which has had:1. Neo magnet conversion (failed as it was too strong and the motor was so notchy it would only run at max chat),2. twin ringfield conversion (failed as I could never synch both motors),3. CD motor conversion (failed as rework destroyed the motor housing stub that mounts the intermediate gear),4. now awaiting installation of a basic ringfield motor built from from new components. Elite controller with some duff smd programming output components that are a pig to solder due to size, but during my last fix attempt and power up another but different component got red hot and smoked so await more bits and the will to try again. A Coast Guard Land Rover and rescue boat trailer that is being converted to flashing blue beacons. Several items of rolling stock that need FREDs installed. Layout scenic work. Outside the house are dozens of sq metres of patio tiles that need reficing and pointing, three pergolas that need their annual repaint, a mojo injection to get me enthused enough to do any of them. LCDR
I could not list all of my unfinished or not yet started projects. The current priority is to get some of the more important structures on the layout built. (station platform, loco shed, coaling stage etc.) Rolling stock wise I have the following SE Finecast kits to make - SECR P, C & H, SR U1, then there is DJH D1 to start, and a couple of Triang L1s to be fitted with Romford wheels. I also have a Roxey SECR Birdcage 3 set, and a LSWR 3Sub to make. As some of these have now been promised in RTR form they are now moved down my priority list.
