Gitter
I was compiling a new loco list, when it dawned on me that there was no loco control screen on Rm. Do not know why I never noticed. Can any of the good guys help ? Rm pro / Elite / xp .
Chrissaf
Do you mean the popup loco large throttle(s) OR do you mean something completely different?.Assuming you mean the large throttle. To see the popup loco large throttle, you have to touch (touchscreen) or mouse left click (mouse control) the upper middle left area of the small throttle** (right hand side column) that you want to make visible as a large throttle. With Rm ProPack, then you can open two large throttles concurrently..** Depending upon which RM theme you are using, the area to 'touch / click' is indicated by a large Magnifying Glass symbol or a Finger Print that shows faintly in the background graphic of the small throttle display. Gitter
Hi Chrissaff, the pop up on the main Rm screen that comes up when you select a loco. As you say the one with slider control .
Chrissaf
So are you saying that when you touch / click the area I mentioned in the small throttle display that the large throttle doesn't open?.OR.Are you saying that you have never used the large throttle before and was unsure how to open it? Gitter
No Chris what I am trying to get across to you isthat there is nothing there- zilch. All I have on Rm screen is disable mouse, top left, stop loco, bottom left, and my layout, nothing else ( apart from the usual Rm tool bar anbottom bar with Rm clock ). As I recall, when I selected a loco from the ' select a loco ' option the loco control screen would then pop- up. It doesn't now.
Gitter
Chris, I'm losing it. I went into system settings and "loco control area was set at zero. What a beamer! Chris, thanks for showing an interest.
Chrissaf
Just as well you found your solution yourself. I doub't very much whether anybody here (myself included) would have thought to check that System Setting. You would probably have been sent on a 'wild goose chase' of reinstalling RM. Mind you it is possible that reinstalling RM might have reset that setting anyway..I suspect that posting a screen capture of your issue may have generated a correctly targeted reply. A picture will always be better than text for conveying the context of an issue..As usual, I am always interested in other's issues and their resolutions.......as one day they might become my own issues to resolve. Fishmanoz
Had occurred to me Chris but was waiting for the answer to your question before suggesting it. We have had the opposite question in the past - someone only wanting to see his layout - the answer being setting the loco control are to zero columns, so working the other way wasn't a big leap. Chrissaf
Seeing a screen capture of the described issue would probably have nailed it straight away.
