Fozzy Bear
Hi. Has anyone programmed the above decoder with Railmaster via an eLink? Were there any problems? Thanks
Chrissaf
I have via Elite but not eLink. Writing LokSound V4 CV's had no issues, but reading them returns ALL 255 values. I found that once I disconnected the 'Track A&B' output of my Elite from the track, and just left ONLY my 'Program Track' connected to the Elite 'Program Track' output. Then I could read the CVs OK..This anomaly I found was totally repeatable across ALL my LokSound V4 locos..I haven't seen this issue on my LokSound V3.5 loco..I am looking at this product as a long term solution (will order one when back in stock). There is a post on this forum stating this product is compatible with eLink. It should be relevant theoretically to all Sound Decoders not just the sound decoder brands stated in the product description..http://www.dccsupplies.com/search/results/?search=101168
Fozzy Bear
Thanks for that Chris. I am thinking about replacing a D&H decoder in a Trix and wanted to check that the ESU could be read by RM before I splash the cash
