I have recently uncovered this set, all of the pieces inside with original boxing!! Only used a couple of times so in great condition, just wondering how much the set could be worth?

Can anyone help?

Virtually impossible to tell. Depends on many things, most importantly how complete the set is, if it works etc.

I believe this is a "classic" set i.e. with the round "spoon" or "loop" connectors which means while it can be used with Sport track using adapters the slot depth is at least 1-2 mm shallower and therefore cars of other manufacturers than Scalextric (and its Spanish cousin) will have to have the guide blades shaved or replaced.

In the end it is the old saying of "it's worth whatever anyone will pay". I suggest you find the set on the net and watch the price (for at least a year if you have time) because slot car stuff is cyclical and seasonal.

It peaks around October as people reminisce and get ready for Christmas or start getting their sets out as the weather turns bad.
