CRAZY.CRAB Posted November 19, 2011 Share Posted November 19, 2011 just got a class 25 dcc fitted, from sandown park toy show, today, £30, it works fine, lights turn on and off, no sound, "DAM", through there was, any way, when cheaking to see if it was sound, on function 3, the train slowed down to 1/2 speed, ish, push function 3 again train went to normal speed, its been running non stop now for 2 hours, running it in, and playing, any idea why it dose this please, ps this is not a hornby one, many thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

These dedicate function 3 to halving the speed, to enable more efficient shunting. It sounds as if the decoder is working perfectly, with no problem.
