rugbyboys
Hi, can anyone please tell me what CV number I need to change the time it takes the Loco to move off from rest, at the moment when you turn the controller it moves off straight away instead of a slight pause with the sound increasing , I have reduced the acceleration time and that is fine but it still starts to move off too quickly, It is Hornby A3 with a looksound decoder,, many thanks. WilliamDavid
Make CV3 = 15 (acceleration) Cv4 = 10 (decereration)
RDS
I am not aware of a CV to introduce a delay before starting but maybe someone else can advise.
mjb1961
I know the TTS locos ,steam anyway ,have a 7 second delay which allows the sound to come in ,it can be altered to 0 seconds but the loksound fitted locos I'm sure you have to set the acceleration / decceeration as already stated by William David ,,what about running in 128 speed steps ,,,,that would do it ,you may be able to alter the cv's to 128 steps unless like my NCE powercab you only have to press a button ,,,,Mjb
Hairy
Just looked at the data sheet for the loksound4 decoder and it looks like you have to adjust cv124 to enable the startup delay. Read the value in cv124 and add 4 to the value. I can't guarantee that this will work, if it doesn't just reset cv124 back to the original value.More info here: http://www.esu.eu/en/downloads/instruction-manuals/digital-decoders/
