Chrissaf Posted July 27, 2016 Share Posted July 27, 2016 Welcome to the forum TrainsGB..Unfortunately, the USB interface used in RailMaster, is proprietary to Hornby and not compatible with other non Hornby brand controllers..Big Bear (paid for) supports the NCE PowerPro. I believe your NCE controller may also be supported by JMRI (Java Model Railway Interface) free open source software. Big Bear was originally written specifically for the NCE PowerPro. Big Bear (BB) has a very similar look and feel comparison to RailMaster but does not support reading and writing CVs. BB is just a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for controlling locos and accessories..I am assuming that NCE PowerCab is part of the NCE PowerPro product as I don't use NCE kit.
