Forum-1211528
Hi, new to railway modelling and have purchased a set with Railmaster. I have some questions:1) Do I take it that the accessory decoder R8247 is no longer made - wondering why?2) Is the loco detection system still being developed?3) How often is the engine database updated in Railmaster? - my new Hornby loco (Golden Eagle) is in it yetThanks,Bish
poliss
1) It's still being made as far as i know. There may be delays getting new stock.2) Your guess is as good as mine.
Fishmanoz
2). Take a look at the Loco Detection - Let's start a sweep thread. 3). Regularly, sometimes in the background without your being aware of it. Also, even without a version update, sometimes it is updated. Try downloading from the link at the top of the RM forum from time to time and see if the loco turns up.
Nick_
1) R8247 appears to be available direct on the Hornby website, but is showing pre-order at Hattons. There are also point decoders from other manufacturers supported by RailMaster too
