Kezzy Posted November 23, 2011 Share Posted November 23, 2011 Could anyone tell me if the track plan on page 40 of the hornby track plans book contains any reverse loops or any thing that will keep shorting my select controller. very new at this hobby so would appreciate any help. Bulleidboy Posted November 25, 2011 Share Posted November 25, 2011 Hi Kezzy,There are reverse loops in Layout 7/13 on page 40 of the 2009 Track Plans. If you are looking at that page the two blue tracks that cross from one side of the layout to the other (one has a triangular track pattern at the end), both tracks are reverse loops. On the loop that is on the right, as you look at it, it is only the left hand spur from the point that needs isolating. I am not an electrical expert when it comes to track wiring, but I'm sure there will be something on the forum if you do a search. Hope this is of some help. bocaj Posted November 25, 2011 Share Posted November 25, 2011 If the layout featuers Reverse loops you will need to get a Hornby DCC Reverse Loop Module, this is if your working DCC.
