KNAP
Bachmann Midland Blue Pullman with 2 Sound Decoders.Drive sound table lights and cab lights all work no matter what CV I use.Main lights and direction lights (F0) only work in a specific circumstance, which is and a CV8 8 reset. If I try writing a CV even CV 3, then the main lights do not workIt appears that the CV writing process is causing the problem with the main lights. Any ideas of what I could try next.. .
Fishmanoz
Check CV29 and ensure 128 speed steps is selected. Directional lights require this setting. See the 2mm association CV29 Calculator on how to do this. Then after programming any other CV, go back and check if CV29 has reset itself. 96RAF
It may also depend upon your controller being set to 128 as well as the decoders.
St1ngr4y
@KNAP Can I ask what your understanding of CV is? Ray
Huwsie
What sound decoders do you have installed? I'd love to fit sound to mine - lights have never worked properly since new, but c'est la vie, as they say. It would be nice to have sound though.. KNAP
On the basis that Railmaster now (never used to be case) overwrites CV 29 this may be answer.Loksound V4
