john_ramsbottom
I have just got a R3392 class 40 diesel loco with TTS sound. This is the first time I have had one with sound chip. My impression is that the volume is too loud - is it possible to adjust it? The instructions refer to CV values, but I am using a Bachmann EZ controller and there does not appear to be any way to access this.
Woody52
Sorry John, the Bachmann EZ is the most basic DCC Controller in use. You will not be able to adjust any of the CV's that control sound with this controller.Peter.
Chrissaf
The volume can only be adjusted via CVs and you need a more capable DCC controller to do it.

Chrissaf
TTS sound (being too loud) comes up a lot on this forum. Most report that the sound is still too loud even on the lowest usable volume setting..PS - Sprog II is about £
Hilux59721707820819
I have to agree about the volume being too high. I got the R3370 King with TTS and within a few hours of running it, even with the volume reduced, my speaker had packed in and was crackly.
