garrettendi
I see in some people's signatures that they are running RM Pro. I have RM that came with my eLink, fully licensed, along with the handheld app... What is the difference between this and Pro and how do I get Pro if it's worth it? garrettendi
Never mind, I've found the PDF through Google!
96RAF
Read the manual that is downloadable online and there is a list of the extras you get with Pro. You can then assess if you think these are good enough value. It costs 30 quid extra and you buy it from within RM. A code is then sent to you to enable it. garrettendi
Yep I just found the manual. Sorry for the inconvenience. I notice one of the features is full support for Train-Tech colour lights, but I thought these already work in the normal RM, using the forward/reverse buttons? RB51
There is a lot on the forum about signals, Train Tech particularly, which although in theory are supported do not currently work as easily as you might imagine or expect. Do a forum search, make a pot of tea and have a good read. R-
garrettendi
Looks like they can work in both RM and RM Pro, bu RM Pro has a better UI for it? That's what I get from the forums and the website for Train-Tech....
Spireblade
I used Train Tech SC1units to convert my old analog signals to use on RM. Strangely for me I had immediate success. The instructions were comprehensive but it was very simple to set them up. A tap on the icon on the laptop screen and they change.
garrettendi
And that's in RM Pro right? You don't get the icon in basic RM?
