Scimdac Posted November 6, 2016 Share Posted November 6, 2016 I have installed the railmaster software ok and now I am trying to install the elink R8311 drivers.i have browsed to the railmaster folder and clicked next.a message appears briefly saying installing driver software then I get an error -"The data area passed to a system call is too small"I am installing on a windows vista machine. I did a bit of a search and amongst all the hits, the only one that seemed relevant was a forum post with the same problem , and it was solved by running the driver installation as administrator.As Hornby insist that RM be installed as admin, I would bet good money that this is your problem Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
