Comet4
Airfixs rebox of what is now a very old kit. How they could say this was a "new" kit at it's recent re-release is beyond me. The only thing "new" are the blanked off side windows! But I first built one of these in the 1960s. The only modification I made was to remove the "see through"look of the engine bays simply by using some sticky backed black foam which when crushed down during assembly forms an opaque barrier. /media/tinymce_upload/2d1082ed9a0143c689f78d7b5e31fc89.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/277d0c87a7eae2fdcb6f2f2a9845ad33.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/5e153d40db35cb874a2f68760b2fe3a1.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/2c5d4dc865abcccd664081d3732426bd.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/a792a71ae09f8209df2f506f4517e777.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/99d7293042514e1fc369942a3a97219e.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/6e630884f0a741cf9c1277e990185ca9.jpg
Kenneth ONeill
Yeah, it's silly when "new" has to be read as "re-release" unless it's explicitly "new tooling" (and this isn't just a comment about Airfix).
