haxby station

Dear Readers 

I live in Haxby and they have a railway station but it closed down in 1930 and it is a lovely little station from the pictures i have seen and if posssible would it be made into a model. As it is NE and it on the run from York to Scarborough. It used to be D49's that came through with the train from York as the big LNER pacifics used to bring the trains up from London.

 There has been a campaign to build a new station at Haxby for many years.now.  Haxby is an important suburb of York, but in the 1930s was just a tiny village.
