Elliot1982
Afternoon folksSorry if this is very simple question but I have x2 Hornby 125 HST trains. Virgin 125 HST and Intercity (Light Grey) - sorry dont know the years of man. The Virgin was recently serviced and ran ok but compared to the Intercity the speed difference is masses apart. Why would this be? I believe the engines are the sameThanksElliot
96RAF
If they are both exactly the same weight chances are the motors are the same but if one is heavier than the other then the mechanisms are likely to be different. try searching for the associated service sheets on this website and compare the innards. You can often find by livery as well as pull up all the variants on HST or Class 43.
