mitchell_beardshall
Hi all,Is it in the interest of Hornby at all that after the release of the MK3 Virgin East Coast Coaches, which have sold really well, that they should now plan MK4 Coaches fo the class 91's and DVTs in the Virgin East Coast livery? Thanks
Carltonf
I know the 91/DVT/Mk4s have come in for criticism for the lack of detail, I'd still have one in the right livery. I'd like the Virgin EC set, but without additional coaches on sale, I am not going to risk being left with a 2 coach unit. Hopefully we'll see some added for 2017 and then I'll have to be quick and get the limited edition 4 car set. It's all a bit chicken and egg with this set though, isn't it. Hornby would love to sell coaches if the 4 car set sells, but people may be reluctant to buy without the opportunity to extend the rake!
DMHDTrains
Yes I hope we get some MK4 coaches...only just got a rake of 5 MK3s for my HST and my Class 91 is looking quite short ...Cheers!Ed. 😀
JeremiahBunyan
According to rumours Hornby were contemplating doing a Class 91 and Class 87. The Class 87 won because it was cheaper to tool. So maybe when the VTEC Class 91 train pack was released they were still pondering upon the plans to re-tool the Class 91 and hence haven't thought of supplying more Mk.4 coaches to complete the set.
