Kez123
HiMy Dad is building a model railway and has asked for some Woodland Scenics stuff for Christmas. He said he needed OO gauge but the shop I went to only had Woodland Classics Woodland Scenics stuff for N, HO, O scale (It's packs of trees that I've brought). What I want to know is if these will fit OO gauge or if they are going to be too big? I don't really understand how all this works?!Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance. LCDR
OO gauge 16.5mm gauge representing track laid to a scale of 4mm to 1 foot. (1:76 ish)HO gauge 16.5 mm gauge representing track laid to a scale of 3.5mm to 1 foot (1:87 ish) So OO is close to HO, and for scenic stuff HO and OO are interchangable (well nearly) so you should be OK with HO trees.. N gauge is 1:100 or 1:148 scale and O gauge is 1:43.5 or 1:48 scale (depending where in the world you are) so are too small and too big respectively. However you can use N scale stuff in the background to give the impression of distance if you feel that might help give some depth to the model.
