John Symmons
Hi allI've noticed that many modellers here seem interested in how the new kit are made, with photos of the moulds etc appearing in the Workbench forum. A few years back when I was starting to get back into modelling I came across a really great artical called Life of a model kit designer, and thought it might interest others on this forum. It's mainly concerned with the old US kits of the 50 and 60, but it's a great read. I've posted the link below give it a gander.http://www.oldmodelkits.com/blog/plastic-model-kit-history/227/ Ther are several articals and stories on this site, and if you look in the Uncategorized section you;ll find one called "A Pigeon called Doolittle" another great read and something a little differentRemember we do this for fun John the Pom
